Sales & Customer Success Enablement Manager

Full Time
About the Role We're looking for an experienced Sales & Customer Success Enablement Manager to join a global B2B media and events company that sells marketing, advertising, lead generation, and content programs to technology marketers. Its sales team sells into some of the world's largest technology and professional services companies. This role exists to build the enablement function back up: a real onboarding program, a well-maintained knowledge base, and stronger partnerships between the sales organization and the rest of the business. You'll gather and codify the company's collective knowledge, push it back out to sellers and customer success teams in a scalable way, and work with editorial and product teams to get specialized product and market knowledge into sellers' hands. This is not a role for someone who only executes instructions. You'll work as a hands-on strategic partner to senior go-to-market leadership, supporting small sales teams across North America, Europe, and Asia-Pacific. Schedule: US Eastern Time, standard business hours. Occasional flexibility is needed for ad hoc calls with the APAC team. What You'll Do Sales Performance Coaching • Coach sellers across the full sales process—prospecting, discovery calls, objection handling, and proposals—with a focus on enterprise technology accounts • Analyze Fireflies call recordings, HubSpot and LinkedIn Sales Navigator activity, and pipeline data to identify individual and team skill gaps • Turn those insights into targeted coaching, training, and content that measurably improves seller performance • Help the sales team get more value from its existing tech stack and support the rollout of a new CPQ (configure-price-quote) system Program Design & Delivery • Build and run onboarding and ramp programs for new sales and customer success hires, including curriculum design, training delivery, and success tracking • Use AI and other tools to creatively develop playbooks, talk tracks, training modules, and quick-reference guides • Own the SharePoint-based sales hub and enablement portal: clean it up, keep it current, organize it intuitively, and monitor usage • Partner with event sales leadership to get event materials into sellers' hands • Identify capability gaps, recommend targeted initiatives, and lead small projects to improve processes, tools, or team performance Cross-Functional Support & Measurement • Support sales and customer success tools through training, documentation, troubleshooting, and stakeholder coordination (CRM administration and automation are handled by a dedicated Rev Ops team) • Serve as the liaison between the go-to-market team and product, marketing, and finance on enablement needs • Collect feedback and performance metrics to measure enablement effectiveness and drive continuous improvement • Communicate proactively over async channels: surface roadblocks early, confirm understanding before running with work, and flag scope that turns out bigger than expected What We're Looking For Non-Negotiables • 7–12 years of experience in sales enablement, customer success enablement, or related training/operations roles • Experience supporting B2B sales teams, with a hands-on understanding of the sales process and a track record of coaching sellers to measurable improvement • Proven ability to design and deliver onboarding and training programs at scale • Working experience in a CRM (HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar) • Experience analyzing call data, CRM activity, and pipeline data to identify skill gaps • Hands-on experience using AI and other technologies to create enablement content • Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize across stakeholders and reliably hit committed dates • Excellent written and verbal communication on a distributed, async-first global team • Self-directed, comfortable with ambiguity and a still-forming function, and willing to push back respectfully with a better approach • Your own capable computer or virtual machine (all tools are browser-based; no device is provided) Preferred Qualifications • Experience enabling teams that sell into enterprise technology accounts • Background in B2B media, marketing services, or events sales • Comfort working with data in Excel, Tableau, or a similar tool • Experience with Fireflies, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, or CPQ tools • SharePoint experience
